Custer Gallatin Forest Plan Revision #50185

The Custer Gallatin National Forest is undergoing Forest Plan Revision. The Forest Plan is a comprehensive overarching document that guides forest management, use, and protection providing broad direction, standards and guidelines for years to come.

Thank you for your interest in Forest Plan Revision.  The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) and Draft Plan are available for review and comment will run March 1 - June 6, 2019. 

All documents will be available online for download during the comment period.   

This reading room allows the user to view letters and content received.   

The best way to stay abreast of ongoing information on Forest Plan Revision is to opt into the email list online.  It takes just three steps:

Throughout the 4-year Forest Plan Revision process, feedback will continue to be accepted.  However comments posted after the close of a designated review period may not be able to be given full consideration.  New information will be accepted throughout the process and incorporated.
